Nina Samuel

Dr Nina Samuel is an art historian and curator with a Ph.D. from Humboldt University zu Berlin. Her thesis, entitled »The Shape of Chaos«, investigates visual epistemologies in the field of complex dynamics and fractal geometry and drawing as a mode of thinking. At Zentrum for Literature she is researching on a project called Instrumental Images in Hand Surgery: From Hand-Drawn to Digital Images. Her last exhibition project »My Brain Is in My Inkstand: Drawing as Thinking and Process« explored techniques of drawing in contemporary art and science and was on display at the Cranbrook Art Museum in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
