Joana Arantes

EXPERIMENTAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Joana Arantes is a native of Viana do Castelo, Portugal and holds a degree in Psychology and Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology and Cognitive Sciences. After postdoctoral work at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, she took up a post as Invited professor at the School of Psychology at Minho academy where she founded a Research Group on Evolutionary Psychology as part of the Human Cognition Lab. The group’s research focuses on, amongst other things, factors that influence time perception and decision making.
