Burkhard Horn
Burkhard Horn, born 1961, is an urban planner who has been working for more than 25 years in different city administrations as a transport planner with a distinct focus on transformation processes towards making cities more sustainable and liveable regarding mobility and transportation. Before starting to work as a freelance consultant on urban development and urban transport policies in October 2017 he was head of transport of the Berlin city administration and head of a committee of the leading transport planners of the big German cities. In his current work as a consultant he is helping to develop sustainable urban transport strategies, moderating stakeholder dialogues and conferences, working as speaker and also supporting policy think tanks. He is a member of several advisory boards of the German Federal Ministry of Transport, cities like Zurich or Hamburg and NGOs. More information: https://burkhardhorn.de/
