Daniel Krajzewicz obtained his Diploma in computer science at the Technical University Berlin. He joined the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in 2001, where he first contributed to the development of the open source traffic simulation SUMO. After moving to DLR’s Institute of Transport Research (VF) in 2015, he was involved in the development of the agent-based demand model TAPAS and in the topic of accessibility measures. Since 2018 he acts as commission head of the “Mobility and Urban Development” department. In this role, he is responsible for an interdisciplinary team of about 25 scientists, which works on mobility concepts in urban areas.
