The Berlin-based artist and designer Fara Peluso (IT), deals with her work in a playful, explorative, and speculative way, with new approaches that connect us to nature and the environment. In her research and practice she designs hybrid artefacts that combine novel aesthetics and innovative know-how, at the interface of social consciousness and novel biotechnologies. In her critical designs, she works with decompositions and new morphologies, and explores our relationship with other living beings.
Her design and art works have been exhibited at DDW17 in Eindhoven and at Futurium Berlin. She is currently a resident artist at the Institute of Biotechnology at Technische Universität Berlin.
