Hans Trinkaus
Hans Trinkaus studied Mathematics, Physics and Medicine in Mainz, Berlin and Heidelberg, Germany. After he had received a master degree in Applied Mathematics, he was working in industry in the fields of Marketing, Controlling, Logistics and Product Management. Since 2000 he is employee at the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics (ITWM), in the Department of Systems Analysis, Prognosis and Control, in the Division of Decision Support in Medicine and Technology.
His main research interests are intuitive, graphical, interactive methods for the management of complex scenarios, especially in real-life applications, which include: visual data mining, systematic technology development, knowledge management, multi criteria decision support, simulation, monitoring and controlling of technical processes, and software assisted call analysis.
Since 2018 he represents the ITWM in the newly founded network »Science, Art and Design« of the Fraunhofer Society (FhG).
