Julia Krayer is a designer and research assistant at the FabLab of the Fraunhofer Institute for Environment, Safety and Energy Technology UMSICHT. She cheerfuly jumps between design, science, DYI and DIT (Do-It-Together). In the current project "FungiFacturing" she is researching sound absorbers from the 3D printer based on mushroom mycelium.
