Mathias Vukelić
Mathias obtained his PhD in Neural & Behavioural Sciences from the International Max Planck Research School, University of Tübingen. During his research time in Tübingen, he focussed on neuromodulation of motor learning, brain-robot interfaces, neurofeedback, and stroke rehabilitation. Now, he works at the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering where he heads the NeuroLab - Applied Neuroscience and Neuroadaptive Technologies. His passion is to gain understanding in human cognitive, emotional, and motivational processes and their underlying brain functions in complex real-world environments. In his research, he combines methods and knowledge from cognitive neuroscience with applied computer science to create intelligent technologies that leverage the full range of human potential to foster subjective well-being and a positive user experience at work and every-day life.
