Prof Dr Marie-Louise Angerer
Marie-Luise Angerer is a professor of Media Studies (European Media Studies) at the Department for Art and Media at the University of Potsdam. From 2000 to 2015, she was professor of Media and Cultural Studies at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. She is the acting director of ZeM, The Brandenburg Center of Media Studies and spoke person of the Graduate program: Sensing: The Knowledge of Sensitive Media. Angerer’s research focuses on media technologies and affection and the zone of the nonconscious. Her most recent publications include Ecology of Affect. Intensive milieus and contingent encounters (2017), Desire After Affect (2014), and Timing of Affect (with BerndBösel and Michaela Ott, 2014).
