Thomas Susanka is the editor-in-chief of Science Notes Magazin, a nationwide print magazine exploring new ways of science journalism. The magazine is linked to the club-event Science Notes, where outstanding researchers disclose their latest research to a broad public and experiment with innovative forms of science communication.Thomas also works as a senior researcher at the University of Tübingen, where he focuses on visual communication, rhetoric and science communication. In his doctoral thesis, he developed a rhetoric of photography, using the work of war photographer James Nachtwey as a case study.
