Deeply engaged in bridging art and advanced spatial research, Félicie d'Estienne d'Orves will speak to astrophysicist Fabio Acero from Laboratoire AIM (CEA/Saclay, France) with whom she has often collaborated. At the center of this meeting will be the work Martian Sun Series (2019).

About the exhibition

NEAR + The exhibition NEAR + FUTURES + QUASI + WORLDS aims to emphasize the vital role that collaboration between scientific, technological, and artistic domains can play in technological innovation and integrative forms of cutting-edge artistic creation.

Taking place at STATE Studio in Berlin from July 3rd through July 26th, 2020, the show will feature a selection of artworks, objects, and documents highlighting the manifold scope of S+T+ARTS, a program of DG CONNECT in the European Commission, as a platform for co-creation, debate, and cross-pollination.


The exhibition is curated by Manuel Cirauqui, with the collaboration of Silvana Fiorese, and will include artworks of the following artists:
