Rachel Stratton is a PhD candidate at The Courtauld Institute of Art and a Director of AXNS Collective (www.axnscollective.org). Her doctoral research focuses on the influence of modern science, mathematics and technology on the visual arts in the post-war period in England. In her wider curatorial and art historical activities she explores how art reveals aspects of consciousness and is interested in the ways that neuroscience and the arts inform one another methodologically and practically.
