Stiliyana Minkovska is a qualified architect and multidisciplinary designer with passion for human-centric, empathetic and ethical design which account for inclusivity and flexibility of the diverse range of bodily functions. Her work is primarily focused on maternal healthcare, where she explores the varied designscapes of pre-, intra- and post- natal processes through architectural, interior, service, interaction and UX design.

Currently, she is studying for a joint Masters in Research in Healthcare & Design with the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London, where she looks to challenge the maternity care model and re-design completely the way we make and break human life within the hospital backdrop. Her design approach is very infinitive and emotive, all of her work related to female-centred health and design has been inspired by the birth of her daughters in 2016 and 2021. She believes that childbirth is a life-defining event which happens to all humans and being born may be the ultimate design challenge.
