Field Experiments showcases inspiring works of artists and designers, exploring the creative friction between cutting-edge science, artistic expressions, and societal discourses. Bringing tomorrow's everyday life into a participative experiential space, the open exhibition-lab places speculative, current and controversial prototypes in their anticipated environment: amidst society.

Thematically open, Field Experiments is dedicated to displaying relevant scientific and artistic positions of emerging research and their societal impact. The interdisciplinary exhibition-lab thus invites artists, researchers, entrepreneurs, creative people, citizen scientists, interested people and groups of all ages and backgrounds to engage with, reflect on and discuss science and technology today as it shapes our shared future tomorrow.

BRAINPALACE

Can neuroscientific research, design and art be used to promote empathy and togetherness? The artistic research project BRAINPALACE wants to find out exactly that and has been exploring the potential that lies in the combination of art and neurofeedback since the beginning of this year. The goal is to develop a light and sound installation in the exhibition laboratory of STATE Studio, which should make it possible to experience the common sensation in a group.
